Eligibility Criteria for Tamil Nadu SET 2016
For those, who want to apply for the exam, must have a Masters’ Degree and a PhD certificate in the applied field from a state or National level Institute or University.
Age limit:
There is no age limit specified for these posts.
Application Charges:
According to the Authorities, General candidates need to pay Rs.1500/-, BC/MBC/DNC/PH candidates are required to pay Rs.1250/-, whereas candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD categories must Pay Rs.500/-.
Note: Fee paid by means of Demand Draft, Money order or by another method will not be accepted.

Selection Process:
The entire selection process will be done on the basis of State Eligibility Test to be undertaken by the state university.
The State Level Eligibility Test will be held for 25 subjects at different locations across the state.
