Eligibility Criteria HP Teacher Eligibility Test 2016

Educational Qualification

TGT

B.A/B.com with minimum Qualifying marks/ B.Ed/B.El.Ed/Secondary Education

TGT (NonMedical)

BSC (NM) with minimum qualifying marks/B.Ed/Senior Secondary and 4 years B.sc (NM) Ed.

TGT (Medical)

BSC (Medical) with minimum qualifying marks/B.Ed/Senior Secondary and 4 years B.sc(Medical) Ed or B.El.Ed.

Shastri

Shastri with minimum 50% marks from a recognised university from HP government.

Language Teacher

B.A/ Diploma in Elementary Education/B.Ed/ Prabhakar(Honor in Hindi) followed by B.A/MA

Junior Basic Training

10+2 with 50% marks/Senior Secondary/Graduation/Diploma in Senior Secondary Education

Age Limit

There is no upper age limit for the candidates who wants to apply for the job.

Selection Process

The selection of the candidates will be based on the marks obtained in the TET exam.

HPBOSE TET Exam Pattern

There will be one paper in four different series
There shall be multiple choice questions in the exam
The test will cover 150 question of one mark for each
The duration of the test will be 150 minutes.
There shall be no negative marking.
Aspirants should use blue/black boil point pen to darken the circle.
There shall be 60% Minimum Qualifying marks.

Validity

The qualifying certificate would remain valid for 7 years. A person who qualified the TET exam may also attend the test again to improving his marks.
