Education Required:

• For Science Stream candidates: M.Sc/B Sc /MCA/ BCA /B.Tech/B.Sc (IT) with subjects as Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Biology, Electronics or Computer Science
• For Arts aspirants: MA/BA with subjects as English Literature, Hindi Literature, Urdu Literature , History, Geography, Political Science , Economics, Psychology, Mathematics or Sociology.

Age Limit:

• For civilian aspirants limitation of age is minimum 20 years and maximum 25 years.
• Mustered candidates age limit is up to 28 years as on the first day of Recruitment Rally.

Selection Process:

All those Contenders who will be selected for Indian Army Recruitment 2016 on the basis of:

• Screening
• Physical Fitness
• Medical Tests
• Written Examination
• Teaching Aptitude Test/Interview

Pay Scale:

Candidates will be paid a monthly Payband as per the criteria mentioned below:

• For PG/Bachelor Degree with B.Ed: Rs 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs 2800 + Military Service Pay Rs 2000 + Group ‘X’ Pay (Rs 1400)
• And for Bachelor Degree without B.Ed: Rs 5200-20200+ Grade Pay Rs 2800 + Military Service Pay Rs 2000
